Hectic political parleys on for floor test in Uttarakhand Assembly

Political activities have gained momentum after the Centre agreed to the Supreme Court's suggestion for a floor test in Uttarakhand Assembly. <br/><br/>Both BJP and Congress leaders are meeting to chalk out their strategy for May 10 floor test. AIR correspondent reports that in Dehradun BJP and Congress party leaders are working on strategy to demonstrate their strength. <br/><br/>Speaking with the Media persons in Dehradun the BJP National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvergai stated that the syndicate was going on the state as result of it the image of Uttarakhand was being tarnished. He stated that the BJP enjoys majority in Assembly and the party was in favour of floor test earlier also.<br/><br/>On the other hand former Chief Minister Harish Rawat states that the Congress had been in majority earlier also and still enjoys its majority. He stated that this will be proved on the floor of the house. <br/><br/>Meanwhile hearing in High Court Nainital on disqualification of nine rebel Congress MLAS scheduled to be held today has become a matter of significance. Despite holiday the court will remain open and single bench of Justice UC Dhyani will hear the petition.
