In Assam, with the issue of notification for the second phase of Assembly elections, hectic political parleys are on now. The second phase of election scheduled to be held on 11th of next month. 64 constituencies in 14 districts of Central and Lower Assam are to be covered in this phase.The scrutiny of nomination forms for the first phase of polls is likely to completed tomorrow. A total of 529 nominations were filed for the first phase of polls. So far 9 nomination papers have been cancelled.
