In Kerala, hectic political activities are underway on seat sharing and candidature for the Assembly polls, both within the ruling LDF and opposition UDF. The BJP has announced names of forty candidates. The CPIM is yet to clarify whether Chief Minister VS Achuthandanadan will be in the fray once again to lead the LDF. On the other hand, Congress party is continuing seat sharing arrangements on war footing with other constituents of UDF. AIR Correspondent reports, well known for vibrant political activities and election process the state of Kerala is witnessing hectic political activities prior to the assembly elections. However, except BJP major political parties are yet to announce their candidates even as polling is just a month away. Despite prolonged meetings headed by CPIM General Secretary the party will take a few more days to clarify whether V S Achuthandan will be in the fray or not. Voters are equally keen to know whether KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala will be fighting the election. Congress led UDF is in an upbeat mood with its stunning performance in Parliament and Panchayat elections. While LDF is getting geared to approach voters with development issues it is also confronted with anti-incumbency factor. BJP will leave no stone unturned in its effort to open account in the 140 strong Kerala Assembly.
