In Andhra Pradesh, hectic political activities are underway in the Telangana region following the en-masse resignations by Legislators and Parliament members on the issue of separate State hood for the region. Consultations are being held by the Congress central leaders to convince legislators to withdraw their resignation while the Telugu Desam Party legislators are undertaking a Bus Yatra today through Telangana districts. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi and the Political Joint Action Committee have intensified their agitation.Meanwhile, additional security forces are being deployed at important places in all the three regions of the state as a precautionary measure.
