Heavy to very heavy rainfall has been recorded in several parts of South and central Gujarat during the last 24 hours. AIR correspondent reports that <span style="color: #222222;">following the heavy rains, the various rivers in South and central Gujarat are on spate. <br />''<br />''Rivers like Mindhola, Purna, Auranga, Par, Kaveri, Vishamitri and Dhadhar are flowing near or above its danger marks. Water level in various dams including Sardar Sarovar Naramada dam are also rising. NDRF along with army and air force are busy in rescue works in low lying areas. More than 100 persons have been rescued by Air force and NDRF from the marooned villages of Navsari, Valsad and Surat districts. </span><br />
