In Jammu and Kashmir, the whole state is experienced heavy rain and snowfall, as in Kargil district 1 inch to one feet snow has been recorded till last report came.In Drass and Zanskar the highest snowfall has been recorded which is one feet and still continuing. As per an instruction of SDM Drass and SHO Drass people residing in their jurisdiction have been instructed to avoid travelling for some days, especially along the Avalanch prone areas.The Executive Councilor for Agriculture and Revenue Haji Ghulam Amir inspected the snow clearance work in Kargil Town and said that the Council has made proper arrangement to snow clearance from all link roads.
