In Arunachal Pradesh, heavy snowfall has cut-off Tawang and nearby areas since Tuesday afternoon. Traffic has come to a standstill as thick snow covered the Sela Pass, around 14,000 ft from sea level and the main route connecting Tawang. Normal life has been badly affected in Tawang and adjoining areas and people have been forced to remain indoors. The temperature has dipped to around minus 2 degree Celsius in the area.
