Heavy rains have thrown life out of gear in the hill state Uttarakhand. Many link roads and some highways have been blocked due to landslides. Chardham pilgrimage has also been affected as intermittent rain continued in Garhwal region. Three persons were killed in Kumaon region in rain related incidents. Our correspondent reports that Met department has predicted more rain at various places in coming 24 hours.
