Parts of Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa are likely to get heavy rains due to low pressure area formed over the Bay of Bengal. Met Department said in Mumbai today that the low pressure area formed over North West Bay of Bengal adjoining coastal Orissa on Wednesday has moved in a North Westerly direction and lies over Vidarbha and adjoining areas now.Under its influence Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa are likely to experience widespread rainfall. Heavy to very rainfall could occur in some areas.
