In Haryana, heavy rains lashed in Yamunanagar district on Thursday. In Sadaura area of the district 200 mm and in Bilaspur 110 mm rainfall was registered on Thursday. The Yamuna and Som rivers are overflowing due to heavy rainfall in the sorrounding hilly areas also. The breaches have occurred on the banks of the Som river and a bridge near Rampur Gainga village has collapsed.The acres of agricultural land of the area have been submerged in the flood water. The danger of flood is looming large in the Tritchipur, Kanipala, Rampur Gainga, Chintpur and dozen of other village. The Deputy Commissioner of Yamunanagar Mr Ashok Sangwan said that the Administration have been alerted and efforts are being made to drain out the water.
