Heavy rains lashes Delhi

Heavy rains lashed the National capital and adjoining areas this morning leading to water logging in some places and slowing down traffic in the morning hours. Several parts of the National Capital Region received heavy rains from around 9 am. Met Department has predicted a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers in Delhi. The mercury is likely to oscillate between 27 and 35 deg Celsius. The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.9 degree Celsius, normal for this time of the year but 0.7 degrees up from Sunday. The maximum was at 34.8 degree Celsius on Sunday.
