In Gujarat, more than 500 people have been shifted to the safer places in Vagad area of Kutch district this afternoon due to the heavy rain in the region. AIR Bhuj correspondent reports that several villages of Wagad and Khadir blocks have been cut off, road, electricity and mobile phone communication are badly disrupted. Local administration has geared up rescue activities.Meanwhile, the situatin in flood affected areas of Saurashtra is returning to normal.
