Three people are reported killed in Chitradurga district of Karnataka yesterday when a house collapsed due to heavy rains. The lakes and ponds in the area overflowed and more than 100 houses and standing crops of more than 1000 acres of land have been inundated because of collapsed embankment. Weather forecast says, moderate to rather heavy rain would occur at many places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka in the next 48 hours.
