Heavy rains lash Delhi

Delhi today experienced heavy rains for about three hours. According to weatherman, a total of 9.6 mm rainfall was recorded between 8.30 am and 11.30 am. The minimum temperature at 24.5 degrees which is a notch below normal. The maximum was 26.5 degrees, with relative humidity level hovering at 98 per cent. The rains led to waterlogging and slow traffic movement in various parts of the city though relatively less massive because of Sunday. The Met office forecasts intermittent rain to continue throughout the day. According to it, there would be incessant rain in Delhi throughout the day, but the spells may be heavy in some areas, settling the maximum temperature at 31 degrees.
