In West Bengal, heavy rains in different parts of Darjeeling district damaged several houses. However, there is no report of loss of life but large amount of properties were lost in the landslides. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, the main route linking Darjeeling with the rest of the country continued to be closed due to landslides. The another alternative Rohini road is also closed due to accumulation of landslide debrie.<br/>
