In Madhya Pradesh, Monsoon is active in Rewa, Shahdol, Jabalpur and Sagar divisions. AIR correspondent reports that rainfall was recorded in several spurts in capital Bhopal yesterday. After hitting Rewa and Shahdol divisions, Monsoon has further advanced towards Jabalpur and Sagar. Heavy rainfall is being recorded in the eastern Madhya Pradesh. Several parts of Rewa, Shahdol, Jabalpur , Sagar, Chambal, Gwalior and Hoshangabad divisions witnessed widespread rains during the last 24 hours. According to the Met department, conditions look set for Monsoon’s further advance, as rains started in other parts too. The Met department has warned of heavy downpour in parts of Rewa, Sagar, Shahdol and Jabalpur divisions in the next 24 hours.
