Heavy rainfall continues to lash Karnataka. The met department has sounded yellow alert for Bengaluru, Belagavi, Gadag, Koppal, Haveri, Dharwad, Ballary, Davangere, Chitradurga, Tumkuru, Chikkaballpur, Kolar and Ramanagara districts. AIR Correspondent reports that several districts in the state have declared holidays for schools today.<br />''<br />''The incidents of lakes and rivers overflowing were reported from several parts of the state and uprooted trees, power disruptions, property loss and water logging is also reported from several cities including Bengaluru. Ramanagara traffic was disrupted due to waterlogging on Bengaluru-Mysuru road. Water inundated several habitations in Ramanagara.<br />''<br />''Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had visited rain hit areas in Ramanagar and Channapatna taluks yesterday. He assured that the Revenue department will conduct a survey and the documents of crop loss will be uploaded. He said that heavy rains in the last three days have resulted in floods in 16 districts.<br />
