Heavy rain and lightening have killed seven people in Jharkhand in the last 20 hours. Many animals have also been killed and some properties got damaged. The weather changed after yesterday afternoon when heavy rain lashed the state. According to reports, five people were killed in Bokaro, while one each in Deoghar and Giridih. The heavy rain has also damaged one portion of roof of the aquatic stadium where the recently concluded 34th National Games events took place. Now the situation has returned to normal and capital Ranchi is witnessing clear sky. The met department has predicated normal monsoon this year for Jharkhand.
