In Uttar Pradesh, light to heavy rain has lashed several parts of the state since this morning bringing down the temperature and raising the water level of several rivers. Gorakhpur, Allahabad, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Siddharthanagar, Banda and Jalaun districts registered heavy to moderate rain. This has raised the water level of Ganga, Ghaghra, Rapti and Bari Gandak at several places.
