In Uttar Pradesh, light to heavy rain has lashed eastern region early this morning bringing down the temperature and raising the water level of several rivers. AIR correspondent reports that heavy to moderate rain has occurred in Allahabad and Gorakhpur since late night. This has raised the water level of Ganga, Ghaghra, Rapti and several other mountain rivers.
