Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds greeted the national capital this morning. The weather office has predicted more rains during the day. The city has been receiving incessant rainfall since late Sunday night, bringing respite from the sweltering heat. Met officials say that the city has received a total of over 325 millimeters of rainfall so far this season which is 20 percent below normal.
