In Sikkim, relief and rescue operations in flash flood and landslide affected areas have been hampered by incessant rain. Fresh landslides have been reported on Mangan- Chungchang highway. North Sikkim remained cut off from the rest of the state. 16 persons including Border Road Organisation and ITBP personnel have been killed in the incident so far. Five people are still missing.
