In Arunachal Pradesh, normal life has been disrupted in several districts of the state due to heavy rain. There are reports of flash flood at Dibang Valley, Lohit and Changlang districts in the last 24 hours triggered by heavy downpour. At least 16 houses had been washed away while another 55 houses are severely inundated due to flash flood at Bijoypur villages of Changlang district.A number of livestock have reportedly been drowned besides extensive damage to standing crops in the district. The Kanchi Nallah Bailey Bridge located at about 15 kilometres from Anini, was completely washed away by a heavy flash flood. The areas in Upper Subansiri district remained cut off for two days as the suspension bridge over Subansiri river, the lifeline of the villagers, has been washed away by flood water on Friday last.
