Heavy rain continues to lash the southern parts of Kerala as a low-pressure area formed over Arabian Sea is nearing the State coast. The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall with strong winds in Kerala till Sunday. The low-pressure area is likely to  intensify by tomorrow and form Cyclone Tauktae. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Red warning is issued in five districts including the State Capital. Widespread Sea-erosions have been reported in the coastal areas of the State today. People in coastal regions are being shifted to relief camps. Control rooms have been opened. National Disaster Response Force teams have reached the State.</span><br />
