<span style="color: #222222;">Heavy rain is being reported across Kerala with the onset of South-West monsoon. This is expected to continue for the next few days. The India Meteorological Department forecasts gusty winds at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometres in Kerala and Lakshadweep coasts on 8th and 9th of this month. Hence, fishermen along these coasts are prohibited from venturing into the sea. Yellow warning has been issued in nine districts.</span><br />
