Heavy rain has affected normal life in Dehradun, Pithouragarh and Chamoli district today. National highways connecting Almora- Pithouragarh and Rishikesh- Badrinath have been closed due to landslides at many places following heavy rains. The Met department has predicted, heavy rain may occur at some places in Garhval region of the state in next twenty four hours.
