<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister of Heavy Industries &nbsp;Dr.Mahendra Nath Pandey today inaugurated the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of the Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI), in Bengaluru today. Speaking on the occasion the Minister said that this institute have not only contributed to the research, innovation, and technology development in the country but also achieved excellence in skill development by empowering fresh engineers and making them industry-ready. &nbsp;<br />'' <br />'' He pointed out that CMTI's contribution to defence, aerospace, and other sectors, including propellant mixing machines, ultra-precision diamond turning machines, and aerospace test rigs to name a few, are unique and unmatched. &nbsp; He said that CMTI's state-of-art and world-class facilities for precision metrology, Nano manufacturing and characterization, and sensor technology development are an asset to the country. &nbsp;<br />'' <br />''The Minister also inaugurated the Research Centre for Sensor Technology Development on the campus. Speaking on the occasion Minister of State for Heavy Industries Krishan Pal Gurjar said that the contribution of Manufacturing sector plays a major role in the country's economic development. Participating in the event NITY Aayog Member Dr.V.K.Saraswat said that collaboration with the foreign industries and value addition of the products are the main motto of this &nbsp;Institute.&nbsp;</span>
