A day after 50 people were killed in a suicide attack in Peshawar, terrorists today attacked Army's General Headquarters in the garrison city of Rawalpindi. Heavily armed and dressed in army uniforms, the attackers came on a white van laden with explosives. Military spokesman Major General Athar Abbas said, all four terrorists were killed following an intense shootout with the soldiers and the situation is now under control. Reports say, two soldiers were also killed in the attack, while two suspected terrorists were arrested. Pak Taliban is suspected to be behind the incident as they vowed to avenge the army action against them. TV news channels reported that the gunmen also lobbed five grenades at the Army Headquarters.
