In Yemen, heavy fighting took place on Thursday between government forces and opposition tribal militia in the capital Sana as President Ali Abdullah Saleh ordered the tribesman's arrest.Reports say that fighting, which started on 23rd of this month, has reportedly claimed more than 70 lives so far. Tribesmen loyal to powerful Hashed tribe chief Sadeq al-Ahmar have also seized some public buildings in Sana. President Ali Abdullah Saleh has again said he will not step down, despite mounting protests.Meanwhile, British Foreign Office has strongly advised all its nationals to leave Yemen immediately while the US has already ordered non-emergency staff from its embassy to leave the country. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has urged all sides in Yemen to immediately cease the violence. Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has called on parties in Yemen to cease hostilities to avoid further bloodshed.
