In Jammu and Kashmir heavy exchange of fire is going on between militants and Army in Gool area of Ramban district of Jammu Division. The encounter started late afternoon when a column of Army launched search operations in upper reaches of Gool area to trace out militants who had killed two territorial army jawans on the night of December 31, 2010. According to reliable sources, two Lashkar-e-Toiba Self Styled Divisional Commanders, namely Abu Moosa and Zulkare started indiscriminate firing on the Army troops who retaliated resulting in heavy exchange of fire. Army personnel have cordoned off the entire area and plugged all the escape routes of the militants. The duo is said to be involved in the killing of two territorial Army personnel.
