In Kerala, heavy downpour continues unabated in almost all parts of the State as the monsoon has further intensified. Wide-spread loss of properties and destruction of standing crops have been reported from different parts. <br/><br/>So far, over 100 houses have been partially hit and two houses completely wiped out in the current spell of monsoon. Pathanamthitta district received the highest rainfall of 76 mm in the last 24 hours. <br/><br/>Kannur district suferred extensive damage and destruction of properties. In all, ten relief camps have been opened across the State. Weatherman said, heavy rain will continue till Saturday.
