Heavy downpour this morning today lashed the national capital for the second consecutive day making the weather more pleasant. Vehicular traffic was badly affected during peak hours due to the waterlogging in several parts of the city.Traffic snarls were also reported from Patparganj, Mayur Vihar, NH-24, Akshardham, Laxmi Nagar underpass, ITO, Vikas Marg. According to the Met Department the city has received 36.4 milimeter in the morning and during the whole week 218.8 milimeter rain fall was recorded which is 142.5 milimeter more than normal.The maximum temperature was recorded 34.2 degree celsius while the minimum settled at 25.6 degree celsius.The weatherman has predicted cloudy weather and more rain in the next 24 hours.
