In Gujarat, more than 200 people trapped in water, were rescued by the National Disaster Rescue Force team in Bhuj last midnight. Quoting government sources, AIR Bhuj correspondent reports that 15000 people have been affected by the recent rain fury. Meanwhile, 45 border villages of Banni area of Kutch have experienced 17 inches of heavy downpour since this morning. AIR Correspondent reports from the border village of Khavda that all these marooned villages have been disconnected with the rest of the world. Relief and rescue operations have been started in the flood-affected areas.
