The intense heatwave condition is continuing in several parts of the country. Hot weather conditions prevailed in the national capital yesterday with the mercury settling at 43 degrees Celsius. <br/><br/>The minimum temperature rose to settle at 29 degrees Celsius which is three notches above the normal. Delhi's power demand also soared to the year's highest at a staggering 6,021 Mega Watt. <br/><br/>The MeT office has forecast overcast conditions with developments of thunder and lightning in some parts of the city today. <br/><br/>The Met Office has said that onset of the southwest monsoon over Kerala this year is likely to be close to the normal date on 30th May.
