Heat Wave: UP govt revises school timings with immediate effect?

In Uttar Pradesh in view of the prevailing heat wave the state government has revised school timings for primary and junior high schools with immediate effect till further orders during current academic session.<br/> <br/>Quoting official sources AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that all primary and higher primary schools, including government and English medium private up to class eighth standard will operate between 7 am and 10.30 am. <br/> <br/>The government has issued an order issued in this regard. The Director Basic education has instructed that students should not be retained in school after 10.30 am and if required, the timings of periods could be revised. He has said that teachers will remain in the schools till 12 noon.<br/>
