Intense heat wave continue to grip National Capital Delhitoday even as the capital and adjoining areas witnessed a marginal drop in temperature, due to western disturbance. The minimum temperature was recorded at 29 degree celsius, a notch above normal, while the maximum yesterday settled at 42.4 degree celsius, two degree above normal. The maximum and minimum humidity recorded at 54 and 31 per cent. According to the Met department, the city will have a partly cloudy sky during the day. It said dust and thunder storms with light rain accompanied by squall may occur towards the evening and night. The maximum and minimum are likely to hover around 43 and 30 degree celsius.
