North India is in the grip of a severe heat wave as maximum temperatures soared at most places of the region.
Intense heatwave continues to sweep entire Uttar Pradesh where the maximum temperature has gone up by 7 degrees Celsius above normal. Two women died of heat stroke in Kaushambi district yesterday.
The Heat wave continued in some parts of Rajasthan where Churu was recorded as the hottest place registering a maximum of 45 degrees Celsius.
National capital Delhi recorded a maximum of 43.2 degrees Celsius, four notches above normal and a minimum of 30.4 degrees Celsius.
