The ICC tribunal hearing the cases of three tainted Pakistani cricketers has deferred its verdict until 5th February. The spokesperson of ICC Colin Gibson told AIR Dubai correspondent that after hearing the case the three member tribunal has decided to deliver the verdict on three tainted Pakistani cricketers Salman Butt, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif on 5th February.The Tribunal started its hearing against these cricketers on 6th January in Doha after a three-member independent Anti-Corruption Tribunal was appointed to hear the charges of spot fixing in accordance with the Anti-Corruption Code . The tribunal comprise of Justice Albie Sachs, Mr Sharad Rao and Michael Beloff, QC as chairman.Tribunal was appointed following an investigation by the ICC Anti-Corruption and Safety Unit (ACSU) after the publication of an article in the News of the World newspaper on 29 August 2010.The International Cricket Council charged three Pakistan cricketers -Salman Butt, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif – with various offences under Article 2 of the code. In accordance with the provisions of the code, they were provisionally suspended with immediate effect, preventing them from participating in all cricket and related activities until the case has been concluded.
