It is an international observance commemorated every year on 25th of April to recognise global efforts to control malaria. <br />''<br />''Health Ministry has asked everybody to take a pledge to beat malaria with a list of simple methods to further the campaign of 'Zero Malaria Starts with Me'. Malaria is transmitted by the bite of infected female Anopheles Mosquito. The Ministry has asked people to stay protected and use insect repellent, wear long sleeved clothing, fit homes with wire mesh, and clean places around home where mosquitos may breed.</span><br />
