<span style="color: #222222;">Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has urged the officials to prepare a roadmap towards elimination of Lymphatic Filariasis by 2027, three years ahead of global target for eliminating this disease. Lymphatic filariasis is spread by infected mosquitoes and commonly known as elephantiasis. Dr. Mandaviya said this while inaugurating the National Symposium on India's Roadmap to eliminate Lymphatic Filariasis in New Delhi on Friday. He also called for eliminating the disease through people participation. The Minister said, India is committed to eliminate Lymphatic Filariasis disease with enhanced strategy.</span><br />
