Spread over 100 acres and 20 buildings the facility will serve as a one-stop centre for basic, applied and regulatory animal studies in India.<br />''<br />''In line with the PM's vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, the new campus will be instrumental in ensuring the availability of infrastructure services for pre-clinical testing of new drugs, vaccines, and diagnostics within the country.<br />''<br />''Speaking on the occasion, the minister emphasised the need for opening up the premier institutions for all for research and innovation.
