Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has expressed serious concern that 14 per cent children across the world are affected with mental health problem. Releasing the UNICEF report on mental health through video conferencing, Mr Mandaviya said, if we will ignore mental treatment then a healthy society cannot be built.<br />'' <br />''The report said, the Covid-19 pandemic has exacerbated risk of mental health conditions in an entire generation. It has left a lasting impact on children and young people's mental health around the world.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">According to findings from an early 2021 global survey conducted by UNICEF among 20 thousand children and adults in 21 countries, one in five young people said they experienced mental health issues. It said, protective factors such as loving caregivers, safe school environment and positive peer relationships can help reduce the risk of mental health. </span><br />
