Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya today chaired a high-level meeting for reviewing the public health preparedness regarding heat waves across the country.<br />''<br />''Briefing media after the meeting in New Delhi, Dr. Mandaviya said, it was decided that a five-member team of the Health Ministry, the India Meteorological Department, and the National Disaster Management Authority will visit the states which are affected by the heat waves.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He said Odisha, Chattisgarh, West Bengal, Telangana, Bihar, and Jharkhand are now witnessing heat waves conditions and a virtual meeting will be held tomorrow with Health Ministers and State Disaster Management Authorities officials of these states.</span><br />
