Union Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya has said that India is ready to lead from the front and become the voice of the Global South in the collaborative fight against TB. He said, the country has seen the unwavering commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to end TB.&nbsp;<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Dr. Mandaviya addressing the 36th Board Meeting of the Stop TB Partnership in New Delhi on 25<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;March 2023. The Health Minister stated that India has identified three important health priorities under the G20 Presidency and all of these are focused on universal health coverage and relevant to our response for TB elimination. He added that a lot of exceptional work is being done at the ground level through innovation in case finding, mathematical modeling, digital interventions and surveillance. He added that India would be happy to share technical assistance with other countries to replicate such good practices.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Dr. Mandaviya emphasized that effort is not only to rebound from Covid-19 but also to bring innovative strategies like the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan which has become a one-of-a-kind movement in the world. He said that it is a Call to Action to mobilize communities to end TB. The Health Minister pointed out that TB vaccine is needed urgently for which its fast-track development is important.&nbsp; Minister of State for Health Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar was also present on the occasion.</span><br />
