Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J.P.Nadda has said, the government is revisiting its strategy to combat Tuberculosis (TB) after setting an ambitious target to eradicate the dreaded disease from India by 2025. <br/><br/>Speaking at the TB-Free India Summit in Dharamshala town of Himachal Pradesh today, Mr Nadda said, his ministry will bring a national policy to eliminate TB from the country. <br/><br/>He said, the country needs to have a dynamic strategy in order to deal with the problem. <br/><br/>Tuberculosis takes lives of over 4.8 lakh Indians every year. <br/><br/>The Minister said, Union Government cannot achieve its target without the positive cooperation of state governments. <br/><br/>Mr Nadda said, India is also moving towards better fund allocations for the health ministry.<br/><br/>He said, Centre has increased its health budget by over 27 percent in the current fiscal as compared to the previous financial year. <br/><br/>The Minister also appealed to corporate sector and other stake holders to help in the cause.
