Health Minister J P Nadda inaugurates 1st Swachhata Mela at AIIMS, Delhi

Health Minister J P Nadda has said, programmes like swachhata Pakhwada are not enough to sensitize people about cleanliness but they should incorporate a deep sense of cleanliness into their life style and all activities. <br />''<br />''He was inaugurating the First Swachhata Mela organised by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, in New Delhi on Monday. <br />''<br />''The Minister said, it is matter of pride that AIIMS Delhi has bagged first position in Kayakalp awards with prize money of Rs. 5 crore in the last two editions of the awards. <br />''<br />''Kayakalp awards were initiated by the Ministry to recognise the efforts of the central and states hospitals for maintaining cleanliness in their premises. <br />''<br />''The Minister urged AIIMS administration to organise workshop on cleanliness to sensitize others hospitals for this cause. <br />''<br />''Minister also hinted that private hospitals are likely to be brought under the Kayakalp initiative.<br />''<br />''The fair is dedicated to the contribution of Swachhta Senani and AIIMS staff members in Kayakalp programme. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">On the occasion, AIIMS administration awarded Rs. 2000 each to Swachhta Senani.</span><br />
