Health Magazine Lancet honoured Social worker Rani Bang as Leader in Women's Reproductive health

<span style="color: #222222;">The Magazine wrote Abhay and Rani Bang's studies have changed medical practice in resource-poor settings all over the world. Bang led on a groundbreaking study published in The Lancet in 1988 that found 92 percent of rural women experienced gynaecological problems, and only one in ten of them had ever sought any help. To improve diagnosis and treatment, Rani led on training traditional birth attendants.<br />”<br />”The incredible success of their easy to reproduce interventions were taken up by WHO, UNICEF, and the Indian Government, and changed neonatal practice in low-resource countries, including neighbouring Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Nepal.</span><br />
