<br/>Health condition of senior congress leader and former Chief Minister of Kerala Mr K.Karunakaran is slowly improving. Hospital sources informed that even if he has not crossed the critical stage, response to medication is satisfactory. Ninety one year old leader has been admitted to a private hospital at Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday morning due to acute respiratory problems and fever. Multiple tests to assess the function of his lungs and brain have been carried out this morning. Senior Congress leaders and ministers called on him and the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and Congress President Smt Sonia Gandhi telephoned to wish him speedy recovery.
