The health condition of veteran Communist leader and the former West Bengal Chief Minister, Mr Jyoti Basu has started showing signs of improvement. According to health bulletin released from the AMRI Hospital in Salt Lake city of Kolkata, Mr Basu still remains in the ICU although he is being taken of the Oxygen mask for small periods of time every hour. Mr Basu is also being administered doses of antibiotics to tackle his condition of Pneumonia. The bulletin also said that he is being given regulated diet and will remain in the ICU for some time. The next medical bulletin on Mr. Basu’s health will be issued in the afternoon on Tuesday.
