Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has said that health care sector in the country is becoming affordable and accessible for everyone due to the relentless efforts of the government. He said, the government is working relentlessly to ramp up the health infrastructure including hospital, tertiary care centres, health and wellness centres in the country. He said, efforts have been made to increase the number of doctors and medical institutions.<br />''<br />''Dr. Mandaviya today inaugurated the seventh edition of International Conference on Pharma and Medical Devices Sector in New Delhi. Congratulating the Pharma industry of the country in ensuring country's successful fight against COVID-19, the Union Minister said, the way India has managed pandemic is a global case study. He said, the entire world community is praising India's efforts in carrying out the world's largest vaccination drive. He said, more than 187 crore doses in the country have been administered in the country so far.<br />''<br />''Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister of State of Chemicals and Fertilisers Bhagwanth Khuba said, India is one of the important pharma hub in the world with production being fifth in the world.<br />''<br />'' He said, the government is also working to provide industry-friendly policies along with Ease of Doing Business. Mr. Khuba said, the Indian medical device sector is currently standing at 11 billion US dollars and is likely to reach 50 billion US dollars by 2025.<br />
